Think you are socially well adjusted? You think you know how to hobnob with the rich and famous or are you more likely “that guy”. You know “that guy” there is always one at every party. Find out where on the scale of “sociabilityness” you are and test your social skills in only 7 questions.

You are invited to a wedding of a friend, and you:
- RSVP 6 weeks in advance, select “chicken or fish” and send a gift before the wedding and perhaps send a follow up note to the couple about how great the wedding was
- RSVP and attend the wedding-- but it is expensive to get there and so it is reasonable not to also send a gift.
- You mention to your friend that you are going to the wedding but never send in the card. You head straight to the open bar after the service and get good and loaded, but you keep your shirt on and don’t molest anyone that you can remember. You send a cheap gift a couple of months later.
- You finally decide to go to the wedding but call your friend two days before the wedding and tell him you are coming and ask to bring your new girlfriend of six weeks. You give the waitress a $20 to bring you a stiff drink before the service, end up puking in the bathroom 2 hours later and leave before they cut the cake
- You are a busy important guy and didn’t get a chance to RSVP. No big deal, you show up anyway with your new stripper girlfriend, help yourself to the open bar, repeatedly shout “Freebird!” to the band and end up leaving with a bridesmaid. Gift? Who knew you were supposed to buy a gift.

You go out for drinks two friends and they run into another buddy they at the bar, and you
- Order everyone a round of drinks and leave your card down and the tab open for the rest of the night. Later if people pitch in, that’s great, if not, it’s no big deal.
- Offer to buy your two friends the first round of drinks and expect one of them will pick up the next round. When they don’t you just buy a drink for yourself the next time and let people take care of themselves.
- Order a round of drinks for everyone and then when the come tell each person how much they owe and collect it all before paying for any of them.
- You let others buy the first several rounds of drinks and only when they make fun of you do you grudgingly buy the next round.
- You don’t pay for a single drink all night long, order whatever you want, and shoot mean looks to your buddies when they give you a hard time. When the final check comes, you are the first one up leaving them with the bill—your company is worth more than a couple lousy drinks.

You are driving down the street and someone wants to get over into your lane, and you
- Gently apply the breaks and signal to him to let him in and then wave back to his thank you
- Grudgingly let him, as you do most times
- Speed up and let him get into your lane, but behind
- Speed up and block him when he tries to get in front of you. And then change lanes to cut in front of him
- No way, no how, no one is getting into your lane. You flash him the bird when you go by just for even asking on principal.

You are at mid-priced restaurant with a group of friends, and you
- Defer to the women at the table to order first, wait for everyone to get their food before you even touch your fork and you always chew with your mouth closed, even when eating wings.
- Order what you want, pay your fair share but put in a little less because everyone else drank a lot more than you
- Actually carry a tip calculator.
- Tell everyone that you insist on only leaving 12% as a group to offset the international tipping inflation crisis. You actively take money out of the center and give it back to people to make sure you don’t exceed 12%
- Order several appetizers for the table, which you eat most of by reaching all the way across the table. You drink more than anyone else there and conveniently head for the bathroom when you see the check coming only to short the bill when you get back

You are at a fancy dinner party, and you
- a. Know exactly which fork is the salad fork, which is your bread plate, water glass and red wine glass
- b. Know enough to get by, but when you are confused you wait and take your queue from others
- c. Know now why you hate fancy dinner parties and are going to break up with the girl that made you come to this stupid thing
- d. Know that you are out of your league as you wipe your hands off on the table cloth while loudly proclaiming the merits of using a cigarette lighter to open a bottle of beer.
- e. Know nothing about nothing. You spend the night obliviously telling raunchy jokes to anyone who will listen while you put your feet up on the table spilling wine on your untucked shirt. The next day maybe you find the cool silver salt and pepper shakers you liked so much in your coat pocket and maybe you don’t.

You are at the movies, and you
- Keep your coat on your lap to make more room, turn your cell phone off and never, ever talk during the picture show.
- Move over when you are asked so others can sit together, but leave your phone on vibrate in case you get an important call.
- Don’t go to movies because you are scared of germs.
- Buy tickets for some other crappy movie that starts 20 minutes before the sold out show and then sneak over to the real movie you want to see, leaving honest ticket holders to sit on the stairs.
- Sneak in the exit when the usher turns her back then make a night of it and watch three movies. You loudly take a call from your ex-girlfriend during the middle of the second movie because you find it boring and then spend the rest of the movie obnoxiously mumbling “bitch” so that everyone can hear you and they will know for sure what a real, super-bitch she really was.

You are at a Starbucks, and you
- Order a vente, no whip, half caff, quarter sweet, extra foamy caramel macchiato making sure to say it in the same order they call it back to the barista so it is easier on them. Yes, you put your change in the tip box.
- Use your Starbucks card to buy a non-fat latte and make sure to maintain an appropriate balance on the card
- Insist on calling the sizes small, medium and large just to try and annoy the staff, not because of the larger principals of right and wrong.
- Bring in a coffee from the local street vendor because everyone know Starbucks is overpriced.
- Order nothing, sit down right in the front and surf porn on the free wifi network you found on your huge 15 inch laptop screen
