HELP! does he like me????????

ok this kid is like one of my best friends but every once in a while he acts as though he LIKES me. i will give you some examples but i could really use the help.

    we were sitting in the basement and he was texting one of my friends and i wanted to see what he wrote so i moved closer to him and he didnt move at all

    he asked me if i liked anyone

    he asked me to go to the movies with him (and only him)

    we were going out before but only broke up because our friends wouldnt stop annoying us (stupid reason i know but work with me here)

    texts me even though hes at another friends house

    when we go to the movies with a group of friends he almost always sits beside me

    tends to care about my running when he never used to (most of my other friends dont really care about my running)

    looks through my inbox and looks at what im texting my other friends (rude but theres nothing bad so i dont care)

    walked me to my door after a movie a few times

    he calls me more than he texts me whenhe only used to text me

    he invited me to go to the lake with him and his family

    when i couldnt go to the movies with our group of friends he told me that it would have been more fun if i was there

    when he and his friend were playing a joke with my friend and putting their arm around her he wouldnt say anything about it to me (i found out from my friend they were doing it to)
