I'd say it already is "huge" (at least if you're a college student).

Jason 05-25-2007 at 4:33 PMThe benefit of Facebook for adults, versus MySpace, is it's less chaotic. Adults typically don't need to put a bunch of goofy graphics and sound bites all over their page, when their main motivation is simply to efficiently connect and communicate with people.
I'm the lead developer here at Quibblo and we're currently researching Facebook's new developer API to integrate Quibblo into their site. It's really cool stuff and a good example of how technically sound their platform is... compared to someone like MySpace.

stustanton 05-26-2007 at 10:27 AMI'm 60 years old and use facebook a little. The reason I use it is to keep in touch, the reason I don't is because people you want to know about ignore you but people you don't know seem to pop up from time to time without data. I'm not sure who knows Im looking, and it feels a bit voyeuristic or intrusive to be peeking into peopleâs lives, interesting as it is, especially if lack of looking is ignoring, and I don't mean that. Adults have down time, and care about their friends lives too. So
I think it's going to continue to catch on as people start using more of the applications that developers are building for Facebook. Also, as people get more familiar with using groups, this thing is going to really take off.
well i think most teens and collage students do cause its popular and most adults dont know cause they never had it when they were kids. lol
I think it's going to be really big among adults when the current teenagers grow up, since they're all on facebook.
