- the 1940s by a frenchman who was looking for a more "enlightening" religion
- No one really knows, Wicca is based off of ancient traditions that have been around for thousands of years
- Wicca was not founded - it just was. It was one of the very first religions, long before Christianity and was only forgotten because of the crusades killing off most of the followers

- A Pagan is a Wiccan, or Witch or Warlock, which is a male witch - it's just a more proper name for it

- Well, you have to be wiccan, or some other form of olde-world religion to be Pagan
- They have to believe & use magick
- Havin some belief in more than one god/goddess, spirits, entities or higher powers

- people assume we are dark, evil or somehow involved with Satanism
- Misunderstood by bad reputations, and political propoganda, and only considered to be a couple religions, like Wicca, when it's much more vast
- People think we're evil, when only some of us are - not all of us
- underappreciated, misunderstood, and assumed to be died-out

- Certain forms of it can be, but generally speaking no - as the general concept of it either worships one god, or technically no god.
- No, Pagantry is basically Wicca and different versions of wicca from the celtic beliefs.
- No. Satanism is a reverse-form of christianity, they worship one "god", with his minnions or demons respected just as the angels would be looked at.
- I'm not sure, I think it is, but don't really like to think of it because then more people will try to relate it to Wicca and call all of us satanic.

- A witch is another name for Wiccan or Pagan, but can sometimes be looked at offensively, depending on the person using it, and the person it's being said to

- No - it's not related at all. That comes from a completely different background, and only has one god.
- I don't think so, because I've only heard of them worshipping one god, and i don't think Pagans were in that region.
- Yes. Though they have one leader, the Buddha, it is an actual philosophy rahter than strict religion, in which case people are allowed to believe in as many gods or faiths as they choose along with buddhism.
- Yes and no - No, because they only have one "leader" or god, which is the buddha, but Yes in the sence that they are all allowed to worship how many they want, as well as Buddha and they also worship the Dhali Lamas as incarnations of Buddha.

Is Aethism a pagan religion?
- Yes and no, it is an alternative religion, that has a lot of similar properties as pagans, so it might be - but on the other hand, they dont worship a higher power, so i dont know.
- No, because they don't believe in higher powers at all, let alone more than one.
- Yes, because aethism derrived from an ancient pre-christian philosophy, and because of that, it is a pagan religion.
- No, because they do not believe in more than one god/goddess.
