Does he like me back?

Hey, there is this guy at school, he has a lotta girl mates but not in a girlfriendy way. He seems to have an excuse to talk to me everyday but im not sure if im imagining this because i do try to find an excuse to be around him. in a group he will often just talk to me. I also got the impression that he likes me because he was saying bye to his best girl mate and i thought that i could see her point to me out of the corner of my eye, next thing, he was tapping me on the shoulder n gave me a hug
