This is a survey on what you would do if you were a parent.
I am wondering if my parents are really THAT bad. I know what they would do, so what would YOU do?

Your daughter has just told you she has got her first period. What do you do?
- Cry with joy and say you are really happy for her and then talk to her about it and buy stuff for her.
- Say you are busy and can't talk.
- Tell her EVERYTHING about it.. TEXT BOOK STYLE!!!

Your son/daughter has just got their first boyfriend/girlfriend. What do you do?
- Tease him/her about it. Say, "Oooh! (Name) has a boyfriend/girlfriend!!"
- Congratulate her/him and don't talk about it anymore. It IS embarrassing.
- Ignore them completely.
- Demand to know EXACTLY what they are doing.
- Tell him/her to invite their girlfriend/boyfriend over for dinner.

You find out your son/daughter is considering being "emo". What do you do?
- Try to convince him/her not to be.
- You don't care what she/he does.
- No matter what they do in life, you still love them!
- Say, "Ok, but are you totally certain?" If they are, you are fine with it.

Your son/daughter has brought their first boyfriend/girlfriend over. They sit down to watch TV. What do you do?
- Say "hi" and go back to your work.
- Peer into the livingroom at them, to make sure they are not doing anything inappropriate.
- Go back to what ever you were doing before but keep checking on what they are doing.

(continued Q4) Then they decide to go up to your son/daughter's bedroom. You start hearing thumping noises from upstairs. What do you do?
- Go up and barge in on them.
- Grab a condom and slip it under the door!!!
- Leave them be, but make sure you ask your son/daughter what happened afterwards.
- Go up and knock on the door.

Your son/daughter's grade have been slipping down. What do you do?
- Ask them about it but don't yell at him/her, she/he is only doing his/her best.
- Yell at him/her to clean up his act right away.
- You don't really care how they are going in school.
- Sit down and talk to him/her and ask if there are any problems.

Your son/daughter shoplifted. What do you do?
- Yell at them and ground them.
- Talk to them about it and ask them why they did it.
- Who cares? It was probably just a chocolate bar or a bottle of soda!!

You find a box of condoms and lube in your son/daughters room. What do you do?
- They are SO not old enough for that stuff yet! Ground them!
- Ask them what they are for.
- Ignore it.
- Leave them there. At least he/she is prepared.

Your son/daughter tells you they are gay. What do you do?
- Cry.
- Be shocked, but understand.
- Yell at them. (why would you pick this??)
- Talk to them... you are not shocked at all!!

You find out your daughter is pregnant. What do you do?
- Kick them out.
- Be really shocked.
- Yell at them.
- Forgive them, but still be angry and tell them they shouldn't be active, they should have used protection. But still help them through it.
- Not be shocked at all. Help her through it!
