Inspired by artist Vaughn Bell's pocket biospheres available for adoption at MASS MoCA during the duration of the exhibition Badlands:New Horizons in Landscape we have created this quiz to see if you are prepared to welcome a biosphere into your life. Feel free to post the results on your own website, blog, myspace or facebook page.

What kind of a landscape would you be?
- A cold, harsh, arctic tundra.
- An urban epicenter with nothing natural in sight.
- A suburb with a neatly arranged and fixed gardens and lawns.
- A sprawling rainforest.

How close are you with the natural environment around you?
- I am a transcendentalist and have learned to love and appreciate nature to the fullest.
- I cultivate and appreciate the natural environment with my own garden.
- Well, I don't litter.
- There's a Dunkin Donuts down the street that I contribute to.

It's a beautiful, sunny Saturday morning! What kind of plans would you make for the rest of the day?
- Hibernate, avoid all sunlight, and bask in the glory of air conditioning.
- Go for a walk, then stay in to watch a Law & Order marathon.
- Spend the day hiking and then go for a picnic.
- Go outside in order to get to an indoor event.

Have you shared your life with a plant before?
- Yes. Oh wait, does plastic count?
- Yes. I've owned several and they have had long, fufilling lives.
- Yes. We started off good, but I forgot about them after a few weeks.
- No. Never.

- Me, myself, and I.
- 1 - 3.
- 4 - 8.
- 9 - infinity.

What kind of a name would you give your biosphere?
- An old cartoon character that you are nostalgic for.
- A passed on loved one.
- The name of a greek god or goddess that ritually gets worshipped every month.
- The name of the artist(s) that produced the most influential work/music you have ever seen/heard in your entire life.

Are you in a financially stable position to support a new addition to your life?
- Yes.
- No.
- Sometimes.
- Barley.

How much attention would your biosphere get from you?
- We will become inseperable.
- About as much as you give yourself including three meals a day, proper hygiene, etc.
- About as much as a mattress that needs to be flipped every few months.
- About as much attention as the Winter Olympics. (ie: Every four years and only when speed skating is on).

How often would you and your biosphere go out on a walk and get some fresh air?
- Daily.
- 2-3 times a week.
- Once a week.
- I don't plan on taking he/she outside. It will have everything it needs in it's little dome.
