Should i dye my hair blonde??

I have natural coppery/light brown hair, and i really want to make the change to blonde. I've looked into it and think my hair is strong enough for some of the abuse that could occur. But, thats just me. I want to know what you think! :)
for all the pro's-
(color: copper/light brown
length: just past shoulders
density: thick and naturally wavy
condition: healthy shine; minimum breakage; been highlighted 2 shades lighter about 4 weeks ago)
