Earth crumped and tumbled
when Mother cleaned her plates
like precious jewels washed with
savlia from salt. But one cracked too
soon. Slowly dissolving like ice alone.
She was angry that day. Her hands
cast storms at sea and quakes on
land. For 22 years Mother cried forevermore.
And as tears seep in through like
pierced rays from her yellow eyes.
