6 hops linking every human being on Earth.

(The intro was so long that I had to split it into 5 more questions to include everything)
The last question requires that, if you are not already my friend, to get out of this quiz and see how many hops between friends it takes to get to me, the Chosen0ne. But remember not to go through Quibblo, because that would be just 2 hops.
There was a myth going around that if you hop from one person to another, being sure to have the previous person know the next personally (not via internet),

  1. 1

...that with 6 hops you could reach every person on earth (except if the person you are reaching is a loner/recluse).

  2. 2

Later, CBS (I think it was CBS) did a study and made the conjecture that it takes an average of 6.6 hops between people to reach eachother.

  3. 3

This makes sense in that the average person may have at least 100 people they know personally.

  4. 4

And if you take the second hop, square the number, and account for the people you and/or two other friends know, I estimate that to be around 2000 people.

  5. 5

Anyway, take this quiz and see what you think about this idea.

  6. 6

Do you really believe that there are an average of 6.6 hops, friend to friend, linking every human being on the planet?

  7. 7

How many did it take to reach me?

  8. 8

Please, I urge you to tell all of your friends about this and to take and comment about it. It should help unify us all.
