there is only one passionate kissing scene. it last about 15 seconds or less. nothing is revealed. although you said you arent worried about violence there is one scene where a vampires neck is snapped and his body is thrown into a fire. there is no blood or any close ups but it could scare a 6 year old. i would say it could be alittle mature for a 6 year old not just barely. id still take him/her
