POEM # 13: Unlingering Happiness...

Happiness approached me with a grin
It brushed lightly against my skin
It hovered above me and lingered for awhile
But somehow it suddenly left w/o a smile

I thought it would linger here by my side
But it didnt, all the happiness was just a lie
I can never tell if it is coming
But i sure hope it'll be back even w/o me knowing

I've been waiting and waiting
I've been crumbling and falling
I smiled happily yesterday
But today, happiness just went away
