We recently interviewed a cloistered nun about what life is like in the monastery where she lives. Can you guess how she answered the questions??

Do you think that being a nun is fun?
- Yes, it is always lots of fun.
- No, I never have any fun.
- We have fun times and not-so-fun times just like everyone else does.

Do you ever have parties?
- No, we don't have celebrations of any kind.
- We have wonderful celebrations on different feast days.
- Every day we have celebrations!

Do you have your own room in the monastery where you live?
- Yes, we each have our own room
- No, we all share the same room.
- No, we each have to share a room with another nun.

Do you get to play games?
- No. Games are not allowed.
- Yes, we play games together, take walks and play music together!

Do you ever get to visit your family?
- No. Visits with family are not allowed.
- Yes, we get to visit our families a few times each year.

What is your daily routine like?
- The only thing we do is pray and go to Mass.
- We pray, read, go to class, work, go to Mass, have some recreation, etc.

Do the nuns at the monastery have a pet?
- No, we don't like pets.
- Yes, we have a pet cat!
