After death?

I was just wondering what people believe happens to you after death. Um this isn't meant to be depressing, I was just wondering because I randomly had this question of what really happens to us like our personalities. I mean I know that when we die our heart and brain stops but I believe that our personalities aren't just chemicals, so what happens to them I mean just because we don't have a body, that doesn't mean we don't exist still. I'm rambling so sorry, I'll just let you take the survey.
