Time slowly passes by
as we just watch and do nothing
But then what?
We die?
We don't even put up a fight?
Our sight of tomorrow is disappearing
along with our life
Due to the hands of time
are loved ones are gone
Done away forever
Never to be seen again
Only in our memories
For that is what awaits us all
Maybe not today
But someday
that's for sure
There's no cure for death
That I'm certain
So pull the curtains
My show is finally over
As yours will too
