Some scientists say that a volcano erupted and the ash from it blocked the sun and killed the dinosaurs, and others belive an enormous asteroid hit the earth and the impact threw up a huge cloud of dust which blocked the sunlight for a long time and the plants died and the dinosaurs starved to death.
