Labels are the result of people trying to reduce a subculture (or the mainstream) into one flat sided stereotype.
That being said, I think of the subculture or scene or the mainstream depending on which one I hear... labels don't bother me.

Labels are words or names by damntards trying to destroy your subculture.
I don't like it when people complain about people "labeling them" or "judging them." If they truly didn't want that sort of attention, they wouldn't be acting that way. One of the points of those subcultures/whatever they're called is to identify with something.
No, people can act however they want, people shouldn't look at somebody and naturally assume they are this one-sided label. Just because I don't like labels doesn't mean I'll act different to avoid them.
labels....thats a no go for me. As in just labeling someone simply for the way they dress and the musik they listen to just to classify them as something,etc.
For me, rivethead is more than a label, its like a way of living haha. But other than that, not kool. I have alot more thoughts about it, but I dun feel like typing an essay er something xP
Labels can destroy and support individuality. Labels are descriptions of ones personality, I don't know how or why people got confused and just go by what people wear and so on...Everyone is different/unique and have more than one...description, so why is everyone always saying you can only be one and that others have to decide for you? I think that's stupid...It's like judging someone by the way they first act or how they look/wear etc...it's messed up and just causes fight scenes..
labeling people is really stupid because everyone has there own style and personality and labeling yourself is even WORSE!!!!!!!!!!!!
