it's really not a matter of gender. it's the circumstances individuals are surrounded by that determine whether one has a tough life or not.

I have no bias whatsoever on the circumstances of my gender as a female, but i say women. We have to worry about our looks, what other people think, and the awful crap that is menstruation, and don't freakin gasp because i said menstruation. We have to carry children, give birth, take care of them, all that stuff. Not saying that men dont work hard too, but i think we kind of push this over the limit a little bit,k? so i vote women. Sorry guys, but its a sad fact.

You can't say whom has a tougher life, based on gender...that's like asking if all brunette's are smarter than all blonds: it all depends on the individual.
The only real answer to a question like this would be neither.
women have the tougher lives
they have to maintain the home and kids and worry about their looks and watch their weight etc.
besides teenage boys have way more freedom than teenage girls in my culture!
see the reason why i made this quiz was not to be sexist but this is a perfect example. i want to see other people's culture as well. people say that it's both genders but that is basically what you know for your culture and just because your american does not mean that's how it is everywhere. so please before you start going off on how this is not a good poll consider other people's culture standards instead of your own.

Just based off of the s-x of a person, I would say women have it worse, although guys have it rough too sometimes.
But altogether, there are so many different circumstances that affect a person's life. A woman having to be the one to give birth is most likely not as bad as a guy who's homeless, starving, and addicted to drugs.

Both, circumstances are based on the individual, regardless of gender. I also agree with Demonkat, the basic problems of life balance out between men and women. Nice idea, Nevy.
If you just look at the average man and woman in normal circumstances, women have a much tougher life.. but the situation is definitely very important, and both can be in the same or very different situations..
