Climate change means:
- Hotter summers and colder winters in Britain. Rising sea levels swamping entire islands. The loss of countless species of plant and animal life. Desertification of tropical countries, millions of homeless refugees and who knows what else.
- It's impossible to know for sure, but it's no hassle to play it safe

How often do you travel by plane for holidays?
- Never. What's wrong with Clacton?
- Once or twice a year but I always stump up the few extra quid to offset the carbon
- I've got enough air miles to get to the moon and back

What do you do with clothes that you no longer need?
- When the first button comes off, I bin 'em
- I keep them until they are unusable, turn them into dusters. Then bin 'em
- I give them to family and friends, charity shops or sell them at car boot sales, on eBay, Freecycle or in my local newspaper
- Hand them over for scientists to conduct chemical experiments

How do you keep your house clean?
- I choose environmentally sound cleaning products, but occasionally for a really tough job, I get out the bleach
- I use all environmentally friendly products and elbow grease
- White vinegar, baking soda and sweat
- I think the cleaner uses napalm
