Do you think Severus Snape cared about Harry or did he only care about Lily?

See what I think is that Snape wanted to make up for he did to Harry. He didn't want Lilly to hate him even more, and he didn't want the dark lord to rise to power. He saved Harry and the magical world by sacrifisting his own life. Just like Lilly did. starts crying I'm sorry. i am very emotional.

mainly lily, i think snape would have cared for harry more if he didnt look so much like james but in the last book snape didnt care who harry looked like he looked in his eyes and died which i thought was sweet :)
that question has been bugging me to i read the book a couple times just to see if i could find out the answer.... the i read all of them a couple more times just because i can

i hate snape! he was all "screw james and harry but dont hurt lily" AND he just assumed that harry was an identical twin 2 his dad without getting 2 no him! harry would NEVER hang somene upsidown just cuz his friend was bored. even someone who really dezerved it like malfoy!

He luved Lily, so he did everything in his power to save the son she gave her life for, and cared about more than anyone else, even if he hated Harry.

I think he saw Lily within Harry and even though he was spawned from James who he very much hated. He cared for Harry because he reminded him of his love. I believe that he only had one love and that Lily was it. After she left him for an a** like James his heart was shattered. And as soon as Vodlemort killed Lily he swore to himself that he would protect Lily's son no matter what. :P That is what I think.
