Must black/blackened death metal have to have a lot of 2/4 blast beating and keyboards in order have a great album?
- Not unless you wanna sound like Marduk with all that blast beating and Dimmu Borgir with all the keyboard usage. Blasbeating in black/blackened death metal is only supposed to be used to balance the lightness of the keyboards and create the wall of sound.
- Yeah, totally rock out with it! The more blast beats and molestation of the keyboards the better.

- No!!!Mallblacks are people who shop at the mall, wear black, and think that their music is more bR00taL than everyone elses because the members of said bands wear spikes, body armor, black shining leather, di|dos, ana| plugs, ana| beads, bondage gear, COF shirts, and have been interviewed in Terrorizer magazine and I really am not like those people! Gross! >.

- Yeah! Heck yeah! Must be really chessy and polished sounding or it ain't good.

- Yes; the anti-Christian/consecrated nihilistic, misanthropic nature of this music is really clear to me, and for the last time black/blackened death metal is NOT a fashion statement! Geez!
- Nah, it's all about the catchy tunes and melodies. Forget what their growing like the cookie monster about!
