A Poem---The Haunting

The Haunting:

It's always there, lurking
every step i take
it consumes me
i cannot move

it's always there, hiding
every breath i take
it overwhelms me
i cannot breathe

It's always there, haunting
every thought i have
it breaks me
i cannot think

this haunting goes so deep
hidden, behind a mask
but you will never see
the haunting inside of me.
