Poem #3

i could drown in the tears i've shed.
waiting for the day the sky turns red.
died red from innocent blood spilt.
though the ones at fault feel not a hint of guilt.
after witnessing all this bloodshed, its finally your turn to die.
and you'd think that the people you love would feel pain, an emptiness inside.
you'd think that the people you love would fret.
but no, they just simply forget.
even though they say they won't, you know its all lies.
but hey, what can you say, thats just life.
