- A set of two or more notes that sound simultaneously.
- Single notes of a chord, played one right after another.
- One note is changed, or slid, up or down to another, without intteruption. It temporarily changes the pitch.
- A rapid fluxuation on one note, usually prodused by bending the string back and forth. Gives a vibrating effect.

What is the difference between an Arpeggio and a Chord?
- Nothing, it's two terms for the same thing.
- Arpeggios are sepparated out, Chords are notes strummed together.
- Arpeggios use pitch modulation, Chords use volume modulation.
- Apreggios are played on higher notes, Chords are played on lower notes.

Is it always necessary to take off the back plate when changing strings?
- Always, you can't get the strings in the right slots otherwise.
- No, never.
