For our Engineering Ethics class, we are designing a product that allows people to locate small misplaced items. When an Item is misplaced (IE the remote is under the couch) the product sends out a signal to a receiver on the lost item and emits a loud beeping sound to help you locate the item. This is very similar to calling your cell phone when you can't find it, but it works for all products.
