I know, I mean, really? You can't help who you love. If you've ever loved someone and cared about them deeply, they feel the exact same way. That's like racism- I think it's weird your black; I think it's weird you gay. Black people are really the same as white people, but with idfferent skin. Gay people are really the same as straight people, only with different love interests. and what happened to the whole 'free country' thing? Plus it's only PROM! They're not getting married or anything!

I don't see why it would matter. Schools try to keep "gayity" out of the classroom, but children and teens are going to encounter it later on in life, no matter how much they try to avoid it. Early experience may lead to questions, but so will not knowing about it at all.
Plus, it's only prom! Come on!

That would be totally retarded if they weren't allowed to go to JUST PROM together! I'm striaght but seriously its ONLY prom! that would just be rude if people like that weren't alowed to attend prom!

i don't see what the problem is if two girls get to gether guys r like yeah thats cool but if two boys get to gether then its a diffrent story.

thanks everyone for being on my side... those of you who are. the rest of ya well... anyway, what exactly is so wrong with homosexuality? I'm a lesbian myself, and im still in high school, which is why i took this, but my point is.... i cant think this early in the morning. I'm hoping next year i have a girl to go to prom with... of course, i'll have to convince my parents its a guy somehow ^^
