Barelegs Brew is our golden ale with fresh fruit and malt fragrance, refreshing for a beer of this strength. It is named in honour of King Magnus Barelegs, who raided Downpatrick in 1003 to replenish supplies, however was defeated by the men of Ulster. Myth has it he was buried in the Marshlands of Downpatrick!
