there are several teachers and administators in my school that are gay.

my chior is gay and at first it was weird cause this was his first year at our skool but its fine but i am against gay. everybody knows its wrong to steal and everybody knows its wrong to lie but did u know its wrong to be gay. being gay is a sin. and i have proof. look up Leviticus 18:22 in a bible. stealing and lying and all that stuff God says is bad but God detests homosexuality. and detest is a much stronger word that not like..just saying

I love gays there so fun to be around... I think they should be able to get married and go to prom. And wasnt it written in the constitution that all men have EQUAL RIGHTS!!! and Jasper_Lover_4_ever 05 beig gay is NOT a sin. hey "jasper_lover_4_ever", most of the things in the bible don't quite apply today. for example, doesn't leviticus also states that shellfish is an "abomination". so apparently you go to hell for visiting red lobster too.

I think gays have the right to be together. and fine let them get married... but i still think gods ways are right. i don't think people should not be buting in to other peoples life. we all think have what we think is right and wrong but its their life let them do what they want with it. you are not helping any one by saying "YOU ARE WRONG"! all you are doing when you say that is making drama and making conflict... let people do what ever they want with their life. btw im not gay.

I have alot of friends who are gay and im ok with it. I think it is fine. I hate people who tease them just because of it tho. Im not gay myself but I think that gay people should have the same rights as straight people.

I completely agree with Jasper_Lover_4_Ever. The Bible may have been translated several times, with exact phrasings lost over the years, but it is made clear that homosexuality isn't right.
i really dont like the idea of a gay marriage. God put a man and a woman here for a reason. so being gay is basically like going against Gods word.
I also agree with you. I'm straight and have a lot of gay friends who are couples. Some of them are so in love, it's wonderful. Why should they be deprived of making an enternal commitment to each other? Marriage is the BIGGEST expression on love for another human being. It shouldn't matter what gender couples are. All that matters is that each person takes the commitment seriously and means their vows.

I believe being gay is morally wrong and it is a sin because in the bible it says it is wrong and the bible is not "just a book" it is the writing of God anyways but that doesn't mean God hates homosexuals you hate the sin but you should still love the person because just because your gay it doesn't mean your different but you should pray for homosexuals to change their ways

I support gays being together, yet I am still sketchy on their marriage. Marriage is supposed to be a holy union between a man and a woman. But I won't stop them. But that is how I feel. But then again, Are atheists allowed to marry? No matter what your view it is a complicated issue.
I agree with blackveil. I think gay people should be "partners" and I think it would be okay if they decided to get married, I just don't think it's really my business to keep them from doing that. Gay people aren't any different than I am, except for who they choose to love.

I have never known anyone who is gay so I can't really say for sure on a few of the questions. I don't think they should be allowed to marry, but they doesn't mean they can't live together. I have nothing against gays, but I am not fond of them. No offence. And I do think it is something you are born with, rather than something you choose. And if that is the case, you can't blame them for it. I also think discriminating against gays is immature. stupid and a waste of time for one thing.

I am not discriminating agaisnt them. I said I am not fond of them, but that doesn't mean that I completely hate them. I don't really care if they are allowed to marry or not, but I am not a fan of the idea. I never said I wouldn't be a gay's friend, I just don't have any gay friends currently. I know quite a few people who make fun of gays just because they are simply gay and that is what I find to be stupid and immature. If you were gay and got bullied because of it, you wouldn't like it.
I have had gay friends for a long time, and I know from watching these people, that they were born that way. They are some of the kindest people you will ever know. They accept everybody for who they are. And they are normal people, just like you and me, but they just happen to love other gay people. And with the majority of gay people, you would never know they were gay unless they told you they were.

I think that if they really truly love each other then they should be allowed to get married. And I've read these comments and a lot of people think that gay marriage is ok so they should LEGALIZE it because mostly everyone thinks it's the right thing to do.

I'm with Crested_Pigeon on this matter. I'm not an atheist, I am a christian, but I do think there are some pretty obscure things in the Bible. Especially involving gay people. You can't use the Bible and God's word against anyone because frankly you're making God sound unforgiving and not nice. The way I see it is if God loved you enough to make you the way you were born then he ment for you to be gay or straight or bi. I don't see why people hate others because of the way they were born.

i agree. i personally do not agree with same gender relationships, there is a reason only a man and women can reproduce. i am not gonna go off on anyone because they are gay because it is their choice, i just personally do not agree with it. i have no problems with gay people, some of my friends are bi or gay, i just do not agree with it.
yeah there is a choice is being gay you can embrace it and have no problems down the line or deny it and have problems later on in life and also when people don't believe in it is because they're afraid that they will either become one or that one of them will try and ask the person that's not gay out.

I'm an atheist so the Bible doesn't matter for me. I don't at all want to seem offensive to any religious people here, and I am very sorry if I do. I just want to state my opinion and I have nothing agaisnt religion. But you really shouldn't use the Bible agaisnt gays. The Bible was written along time ago by humans and not a Deity. Okay, you can say I have no proof agaisnt that, but you have no proof that anything in the Bible is actually true either. Just my opinion.
Again, sorry if my message was at all offensive. I just hate it when people use the Bible agaisnt people. I have nothing agaisnt gays and I find it stupid when people laugh and make fun of them. Gays and lesbians are nice people but i think we should stick with traditional marriage. the bible states that marriage should be between a man and a woman. one of Gods commandments was to multiply and replenish the earth. if you don't know what that means it means to have children. Gay people can't do that. i know that god loves all his children including gays. i think he is saddened by their choices but he still loves them.
