Virginia has one of the best state university systems in the country. Now, which is the one for you?

So, be honest...how hard do you like to party?
- Pretty hard...but I know that I have to balance my academics, too.
- I'm usually happy going to the movies with my friends...it doesn't have to be about getting drunk.
- I love to party and meet new people!
- I'm a big partier...and I can't wait for the tailgating!
- ...Wait, are there people in college who DON'T?
- Well, academics come first, but I definitely know how to let loose.
- I'd prefer just having a few drinks with friends at my place.
- Only on weekends...but when I do, I do it right!

Do want want to go Greek?
- Maybe...I'd like to go to a school that has a strong Greek system, but where not being in a fraternity or sorority isn't social suicide.
- Eh, not for me. I don't want there to be a Greek system at my school.
- YES! Everyone in my family went Greek, and I know it's for me.
- Sure...I just want to have fun!
- Yeah, I'm considering it.
- I might...I'd prefer to go somewhere where Greek life is small but thriving.
- I'd like to have the option, but I doubt I will.
- Yes yes yes!

How big do you want your school to be?
- Very very small...around 1500. I don't want to go to a big school at all.
- About 25,000. I want to go to a school with lots of people and school spirit!
- Closer to 20,000. It seems like an average size for a school.
- Around 15,000...I don't want to go somewhere where I'll see the same faces every day, but huge schools scare me!
- Pretty small...about 6,000. I want to go a school that doesn't let in just anyone.
- Close to 10,000. It doesn't really matter as long as it's a fun place to be and isn't too serious.
- 4,000 or less. I don't want the "big state school" atmosphere.
- 30,000 and growing! I love big cities and being around all kinds of different people!

Hate to ask, but how did you do in high school?
- Mostly B's, some A's, maybe a few C's. But I had an extra-curricular or two that I was really passionate about.
- 4.0, high test scores. That's all that matters, right?
- I was a B student mostly...sometimes better, sometimes worse.
- I got excellent grades, my test scores rock, and I have a pretty impressive resume to boot.
- Well, I passed everything. Most of the time.
- I was valedictorian and was pretty involved in extra-curriculars, too. Anything less and my parents would NOT have been happy.
- I was an average student...so what?
- A's and B's! My test scores were okay, too.

What do you want to major in?
- Well, my dad already has a job for me all set up at his law firm...I just need to graduate law school first.
- Engineering.
- Business.
- Art.
- I eventually want to go to med school.
- I just want to get an easy degree...
- English.
- Something in the sciences...biology, chem, physics, environmental science, etc.

What senior class superlative would you be most likely to receive?
- You went to a small private high school...there weren't really enough kids in your class to have superlatives.
- Most likely to succeed.
- Craziest partier.
- Most free-spirited.
- You don't think you'd get one.
- Shyest.
- Preppiest.
- Most athletic.

What's your idea college town?
- A big city with lots to do!
- A small, rustic town with southern charm.
- A typical college town, with great town-gown relations.
- You don't want to be anywhere too huge, but you want somewhere with a unique charm to it and plenty to do.
- You want to be a decent drive away from DC, Richmond and all of the other state schools so you can visit your friends!
- You doubt you'll be leaving campus that much...so it doesn't really matter!
- ...the school IS the town!
- Somewhere quiet, interesting and small with lots of history.

What's your idea of a perfect date?
- A walk in the park, maybe a movie at home. The idea is to get to know each other.
- Dinner at an upscale restaurant, then out on the town!
- Clubbing...partying...out dancing...fun fun fun!
- A few hours of intelligent conversation over espresso.
- Sailing on the river and then cocktails at the country club.
- An outdoor music festival.
- To see your favorite sports team, then to a huge party!
- Dinner and a movie...nothing too wild!

How much of a factor are finances in your college decision?
- You just want to get a great education...but a low price tag wouldn't hurt.
- As long as you aren't paying an arm and a leg, you'll be okay. You plan on getting a practical degree anyway, so you'll be cashing in after you graduate.
- Even some of the cheapest schools still seem expensive to you. As inexpensive as possible is what you're looking for.
- You don't want to be in debt until you're 40...so let's keep the tuition low, please.
- You'd like to go to a private college, but the price is way too high right now.
- Not a factor...your college fund is thriving.
- You doubt you'll be taking college all that seriously, so a low cost is a must.
- Money isn't really a problem in your family...and after fraternity/sorority dues, bar tabs, a well-furnished apartment off campus, a nice car to get you home for breaks, etc., the tuition will probably be the least of your parents' worries!

If you were to leave Virginia for school, where would you want to go?
- The University of Florida...their football team is amazing. Or maybe MIT. The major you're interested in is really strong there.
- A liberal arts school in New England, probably.
- An ivy league school.
- You're not really sure.
- Vanderbilt or Duke...you want prestige, but you also love the South!
- You don't want to leave Virginia! What a silly question!
- The University of Mississippi...Arizona State...any big party school.
- Somwhere laid-back on the west coast.
