There is a lot of discussion about teachers "friending" students on social networks-including Facebook.

Do you think that it's harmless, and it's just like adding a older friend?
Perhaps if you were struggling with homework you could just write a message on their wall asking for help!?

Or do you think it's too weird, and the relationship should stay in the classroom

Yet, people forget that ultimately, teachers are just people, who we can be friends with! Isn't that right?

  2. 2

Would you benefit from having a teacher has your friend- with homework worries, prehaps your home life is hard and you need some support from a trusting teacher?

  3. 3

Would you feel pressured into accepting them if your teacher requested your friendship on it?

  4. 4

Do you think that adding teachers on Facebook would be a breech of the trust, or professional position they are in?
