Solve the murder mystery

You are in the middle of ...when you get a call from the police chief " Your father was murdered. We need you to come down to New York to solve the case. He was murdered at 12:30 P.M. We think your mother did it because he cheated on her."

. You go to New York to prove you mother`s innocence.
Clues: 1. Your mother now lives in Paris she would have had to travel a long way just to get to new york. 2. your mother never seemed to hate your father after the divorce. Why would she murder him?

    You go to the crime scene( his apartment) you see there was no blood. You find a red hair ( your fathers hair is black) a pill and an id card. Wait a minute, you mother`s hair is red! you....

    You investigate further. You check ur fathers phone. You see a number that belongs to a person named "Vanessa" you....

    You call the number. A woman answers. You say....

    You decide to investigate ur mother first. You get to her house in paris. You knock on the door and ask to come in. She lets you inside. You say....

    She says" no i am not going to jail i didnt do it and the red hair doesnt belong to me" she doesn`t look at all worried. you are suspicious you think....

    you say " did you two talk anytime before the murder?" Your mother says....

    You end the investigation. you leave. then it hits you. she said your father was comign to visit us! if he was, he would have to have called to tell her. you think...

    you go to vanessa apartment to investigate her. she looks suspiciously at you you....

    she says '' I didnt want him to visit you all. he disappered for a few days. I was angry. I broke up with him at his house. i came to pick up my things, and he was on the floor, dead." you.....
