i totally was just thinking that the other day. what if some that guy...g something (the guy who wrote the bible) just wrote this stuff down and printed it out and people just started believing it? anyways, im agnostic. prove to me god is real, and i will believe...but not worship...never worship.
Here is some proof Emo Star, 1:The Universe had to be created by something, oh and if you believe in the big bang, than something would have had to make that adom that exploded or even the existence of strain and massive explosions. 2: Evolution could not have made us because monkeys would still be evolving and we would still be evolving. 3: The human brain is a very powerful and complex organ that could not be made by and explosion and neither could blood or even skin and sweat.
look its not made up when people believe it. They have handed the bible down for years and years and years its not funny. There may be a God out there they may not. Im not looking for proof. Imjust hoping there is.
as to the "never talked to him", I pray every single day. And I don't mean praying like "Our Father which art in heaven". I mean a real, true conversation, because no matter what, you can tell him anything. And I know he hears me. Not because I ask him to do something and like a cosmic vending machine he spits out a miracle, but because, well, you just know. There's been so many times when something has happened that I have prayed deeply about. God's real.
oh and btw, there wasn't somebody with a name starting with g that wrote the Bible. Such a comment only shows your ignorance about the Bible. I suggest reading it before passing judgement on it. The Bible is comprised of 66 seperate books and letters written by over 20 people over a span of about 1500 years. And what's more, there's no contradictions in those 1500 years. Name another book that's that accurate and that complex.

I have one question for all of you people. How do you KNOW god exists? If you give me proff, i'll believe. But for the most part i think you people just made him up to give yourselves an ounce of confidence. Send me to hell if i'm wrong. It's probably warmer there anyways.
Also it doesn't matter how "complex" the bible is. People over a period of time having related dilusions is what i believe. And as for how the universe was started i have no idea. But im sure it wasn't some God, because who created him? When i die and become a ghost or whatever, I'll tell you people if there's a god or not. O_o

I accept that most of the people in the Bible are real like Noah, Jesus, and Mary. I just don't entirely accept all of the details (flood for 40 days and 40 nights? A boat that can hold two of EVERY ANIMAL IN THE WORLD? Not believable).

This is just an observation mind you, but it seems that a lot of the people who are atheists on here either have the word "emo" in their name, or the "X (name) X" thing. And that almost all the people who are Christian have neither of those. I don't mean to start another fight, it's just an observation.

i asked my friend,Natalie and she said that ppl were there when it happend so they wrote it down,died and then when other ppl saw another part of it,they wrote it down and its been passed down until the"Bible" is what they called it

I don't beleave in "God". I just can't see how he just made the universe, and everything. How did he show up? Did "God" just pop up out of nowhere? Show me some proof if him and I'll maybe, MAYBE consider him being the creater of the universe and crap. Message me if you want to argue with me. I have many reason's why I don't beleave in "God".

He is a GOD, as in, almighty creator who can do things beyond our imagination. He could create several universes if he wanted. And since he is a god, his beginnings could not be understood by human minds. He is too complex and amazing to understand. The reason we can't see him is because he is too beautiful and almighty. And if we saw him, our minds would break because they would be unable to understand him.

So I'm not saying you'll burn in Hell if you don't believe Him(although you will, no hard feelings lol). God is the true way of life. He sent his son to die for us to forgive our sins(which EVERYONE commits) if you choose to take advantage of that opportunity. I'm just saying overall, God is real and he's the way of life. actually, the big bang was very likely, because of matter. atoms are made up of matter, and that matter was in the atmosphere at the time. I'm not supporting either view coughthere is no godcough but i'm just saying. there are people who do believe (not me) and people who are in between (used to be be me) and people who are firm about not believing (me) and i don't understand why it's that hard to believe that there are different views about the subject.

lol waffle guy. There is no proof that the theory of the big Bang is True. A bunch of Scientists made that theory. If something like that really happen God did it. God invented that stuff and we just named it Science.
And the other question no one can answer is how the big bang began (unless they say God). Seriously, what is the probability that a random group of atoms appeared out of nowhere, rammed together, and created all the complex life forms and exact variables that, if altered in anyway, could kill us? Think before you comment.

abocreature9, that is probably the most insensitive thing i have could have possibly imagined that someone would say. there is absolutely nothing wrong with bhuddism. (don't kill me if i'm wrong) not believing in any particular god and finding your own creator within is probably the best religion because it isn't discriminatory and it doesn't beat down other religious views. someone should teach you "God's" views about being at the very least civil to your fellow humans and not being a total a$$

No, God just gave US the choice to chose. And it's up to us whether or not we want to go to Hell, it's us who choses not to believe. So therefore it's not God's fault if people go to Hell because they had the chance. :l
Well you both have real good points. But I'm siding with savnev6 because it makes sence. If you mom truly loves you she will always will take you back I beleive God should be the same way. Then agian I really never really beleived in any of it. One the bible isn't real good proof and theres a lot of things that just don't make sence. Two no ones been able to prove it to me with anything other then lyrically lying songs and false worded books so until you show me some living proof good luck.
