When the USA was discovered in 1492 by Christopher Columbus, there were 13 states called colonies. now there are currently 50 states. but in the world there are 7 coninents and several oceans. the world began in 1642(not really). the biggest continent is asia and it has the largest country wich is china.the smallest is iceland and greenland comes close. eurasia is a subcontinent made up of 2 continents.
