This inventory helps to identify a person's particular area of passion within the life of the church as outlined by the mission statement of Morehead United Methodist Church:

The mission of Morehead United Methodist Church is to make Christian Disciples that will produce an impact on our community and world. Towards these ends we will attend to the following tasks: Attract, Connect, Convert, Equip, and Send.

I think most people judge a church by
- How friendly they are to visitors
- How excited people are to attend
- How many souls are saved by its ministry
- Its ministry in the community
- The depth of its Biblical teaching

Given a choice, I would rather help the church
- Gather in fellowship and prayer for one another
- Train the youth and children in the basics of the faith
- Do volunteer work among the needy
- Host an event that draws in people from the community
- Carry the gospel to places it has not been heard

I think the religious authorities of Jesus’ day found him dangerous because
- He drew such a large and enthusiastic following
- He taught that love was more important than the Law
- He claimed to be the Son of God and demonstrated it with power
- His was beginning to multiply his ministry by sending out his disciples into the countryside
- He was gaining the support of the people through his healings, exorcisms, and other miracles

The reason I come to church each Sunday is
- To draw strength in order to minister to others throughout the week
- To grow in my depth and understanding of faith
