CHILDREN

They are so innocent
And so sweet
They aren’t sure
Clean and pure
Can’t you see there eyes
Such a brilliant light
It takes you away
To a familiar time
When you were innocent
Beautiful
Like glistening water
On the boat of dreams
So when do we change
To the things we are today
