- Eat it and smile through it, preparing to vomit later, or possibly be found dead.
- Make an origami-style flower with your napkin and hide the food under it.
- Spit food into your napkin with every bite.
- Feed half of it to the dog/your little cousin.

Dad is being a jerk and plans a potato sack race. How do you get out of it?
- Pretend to fall and trip during the race and get out fast.
- Play it cool and say your hay fever is acting up, then convulse against the counter with sneezes and coughs.
- I can't, since my dad is a lie detector.
- Win the race to show off to the hot guy my cousin brought along to the reunion watching!!

Today's reunion theme is Under The Sea, and Great Auntie is wearing a coconut bikini. How do you survive the visual terror?
- Steal someone's reading glasses to blur my vision and avoid trouble.
- Cover my eyes with my hands when I'm around her, try not to puke.
- Wear my darkest shade of sunglasses and say that I'm sensitive to flourescent lights.
- Hide behind someone the entire time of theme-filled celebration.

How do you avoid embarrassing comments about your childhood?
- Interrupt with, "Do I smell burnt meat? Is Dad on fire again?" (whether he's cooking or not)
- Laugh and say loudly, "Remember how my brother made out with that girl in his car behind Wal-Mart? No? Well, that's a new story to discuss!"
- Moan and try to pull the 'have-pity-on-me-I'm-an-angsty-youth' act.
- Pretend to choke on a nearby piece of food. You should always carry some with you anyway.

How do you barricade yourself against your young and violent cousins?
- Barricade? With what? And I'm too hungry and tired and almost-mental to be locked in anywhere.
- Lock myself in the room I'm staying in and slide a dresser against the door.
- Climb the tallest tree in the back yard and hide there for an easy escape.
- Arm myself with pillows and sneak through the house until I can hide in a closet that has a dead bolt lock.

Your mean cousin Janie/some-other-generic-name is being a beeotch to you. How do you retaliate?
- Comment on the new additions plastered to her chest, ask if they're grape fruits or what?
- Put nair and bleach in her shampoo/conditioner bottle. Or both!!
- Get into a war of words/ mean insults with her to make her look like an idiot.
- Sob to myself in my room and hug my knees to my chest, scratching her eyes out in her pictures.

Finally: if you're reunion suddenly became zombie-infested what would you do for defense?
- The hell, I'm taking the keys to Mom's car and leaving!!
- Try to defend everyone with some chef's knives in the kitchen.
- Scream and hide, too scared to do anything.
- Lock the doors, barricade them, and call for help.
