This is, as you can see, a Harry Potter Sorting Hat Quizz. I came to this site pacifically to create this, so I'm really making it as well as I can to make this good. I added in rather interesting questions to stop people knowing beforehand what houses they know the answers will lead them to. Be as honest as you can (to be extra careful with getting the true house) and just have fun, I suppose.

You have been working on a long Essay for three hours staright and it's almost done, but suddenly the power is cut off on your computer. You're devistated - only half of it was saved. What do you do?
- I stare at the computer for a long minute, cursing the idea of no backup power, and then start it up again and get back to work. It will only be an hour and a half of writing…
- Ugh! How the hell did that just happen? Why hadn't I saved? This is such a stupid situation! I'm going to start up this computer and write it again from sheer spite - I'm SO not in the mood for this right now, but I need to get it done already… Grrrrr…
- There's a silence as I stare at my own blank reflection through the screen. I'm so angry that this just happened… I get up and leave the foolish computer behind. It'd evident that the world doesn't want me to work right now, and I don't want to work anyway! This was a waste of time.
- I wokred SO hard on this essay, and I can't believe this has happened! Ugh, I give up. I'll just wait a few hours, until I'm in a better mood…

You hate a lot of people - why?
- Everyone is so condescending, and so self-centered… I only find comfort in my friends.
- Basically everyone seems shallow-minded. It's as if no one else has a consciences, and I feel trapped a lot of the time…
- People don't see how much good I'm doing to the world - and I don't mean to be big-headed when I say that. I hate people because they don't understand the importance of their opinions, and don't undersatnd what I mean a lot of the time…
- People are common. I walk along the street sometimes and see them all as one lifeless and empty series of beings, and I know that I can't do anything about that… I ignore it most of the time though. That's one of many problems…

You have been friends with a special somone for years upon end, and have grown to feel effection towards them. When you find out that you really like them, what do you do about it?
- I'd just tell them. We've known each other for years now, and they'll understand even if they do'nt feel the same way about me.
- Why on earth would I ever be careless anough to tell them so soon? If they haven't worked it out already, I don't see why I should ruin what we have just because I found out. I have better things to care about…
- I'd wait until I saw a sign that suggests they like me too. If it never comes… at least I didn't ruin the friendship we have.
- I suppose I'd just let them know little by little… they should understand by now that all this time I'm giving them means something more. I just won't make a huge thing out of it all.

Life is…
- Far too short. There's isn't enough time to do everything I want to.
- Questioned too much - this is all we know, why wonder about it so much? That wasts time.
- Will come and go, simple as that. I just have to do all you can with the time I have.
- It too complicated… I don't think that I as one will ever understand it.

Happiness is…
- Accomplishing every goal and knowing that you have become as good as you could only dream possible! But maybe that goal is nonexistant…
- Making do with your situation, and finding a way to quietly do everything you love.
- Having nothing to worry about, and not a care in the world!
- Knowing you and the people around you are safe, and free to go in with life.

- Patterns! They're very simple once you know a few…
- Repeated words or mistakes in writing. I don't see why people don't notice it when they're writing…
- Anagrams, I suppose.
- Hidden messages in margins of writing, and so on. That's just plain obvious.

What's your worst fear?
- Either I'm not scared of anything, or I haven't found out what scares me yet.
- Spiders, monsters, war, being alone… the ususal.
- The only thing to fear is fear itself.
- If I told you, you'd only use it against me… And that fact ISN'T'T my worst fear - I swear!

You find a baby bird in your garden one day, and deicde to keep it because it's healthy but needs a new home. What are you thinking?
- Oh… A bird. I can't really be bothered to look after this, but I know it's parents won't be back, and I know it's death will be my fault if I don't take it into the house…
- Ooooooh - birds in general are very interesting creatures! It's rare as well that you get to find one old enough to survive, but young enough not to fly away! It will be really cool to see how this turns out in the end!
- Will I be able to look after it properly? I don't really want to accept it… What choice do I have though? I may as well look after it… and then it'll just fly away, I hope…
- Oh, WOW! This is so awesome, and my little sister will be SO jealous! He'll grow up and then be my companion around the house when I'm not at Hogwarts! He's no owl, but I can't let him die anyway. I wonder what kind of bird he is?

- Offend them back in a semi-playful way. It will demean what they said and make people see you don't care what they think.
- Offend them back in a terribly forceful way. I haven't got time to waste on them, and this will make them be quiet!
- Make a comeback of greatlu sly wit that makes them feel stupid and regret offending you at all.
- Just walk away and forget about it. Who really cares?
