What's up with the games?

I'm having trouble with the game "solo words".

You get letters but not a good supply. When you put in a word not "recognized" it puts out an X. I put in real words... must be they have people just experiment with the game and words THEY put in are the words being "recognized".

I think if we put in real words it should ALWAYS give points. I wonder how people get more than 300 points with issues like these.
