I'm new to this and would greatly appreciate comments on how to become a better poet. :) thanks.

When one soul doesn't keep,
The other one is forced to weep.
Abiding strengths will soon flourish,
For those who don't hold on.
You cant force them to stay forever,
Nor can you expect it.
For time is genuine,
And to not be taken for granted.
