My school requires mechanical because they are too cheap to buy pencil sharpeners, lmao. xD It doesn't really matter to me. I don't like real pencils because they break and are a pain. I don't like mechanical because they run out of lead and when the eraser runs out you have to find a new one or your lead will fall out. :P
mechanical pencils are better cause they don't break, u can use the same one over and over again, and u don't have to sharpen it every time u break a piece of led!!!
For me they break easily. I am an old fashion gal so I like real pencils better, although I only (mostly) write with black ink pens.

I have a problem with the term "real" pencil. I prefer wooden pencil. After all, would that not imply that mechanical pencils are "fake"? I don't think they're fake. They preform the same function do they not?
