I always thought it would be fun to write one of these, so here's my first one. Tell me if it's any good! :)

As soon as your feet are planted firmly on the dirt path, your mother, unable to wait, reaches over and pulls your door shut. "Bye, honey!" she yells genially out the open passenger's seat window. Then she leaves, stepping on the gas like she was sixteen all over again and not looking back even once. You sigh.
