Dark Sunset

Perhaps it was because of the rain pattering on my window...or perhaps it was because I couldn't shake off the loneliness of summer,but I found myself delving into my dark thoughts more than I used to...When would this end.....?

The next thing I knew,tears were falling from my eyes...and the candle beside me went out,leaving me in the dark,just as every other light in my life did.Soon,I heard the roar of an engine,and the slam of a car door. 'Great...visitors..and in my current stat.....' I thought...I wiped my eyes on my sleeve and opened the door,for mom was busy with cooking...and my dad....well....Let's not talk about that...
"Hey,Alisha!" "What are you doing here,Kent?I thought you weren't going to see me again till the end of summer.." "Uhm.....Well...I know it's raining at all...but I was wondering if you wanted to get ice cream...I mean,summer all alone is no fun..." "Sure.."

Hmph...What am I thinking.....He'll never come..No one will.....They never do...What a nice...cold life I lead....I lit the candle once again..Maybe....Just maybe.....it'll be better without me.....It's not like anyone cares.....Just another face in a crowd....No....I can't think this....But....why shouldn't I?

They even have electricity down there....the only light I have is a candle....
I decided to go for a walk.. "I'm going out mom!" "Oh,no you're not!It's raining!You'll catch cold!" "What do you care?" I yelled as I slammed the door shut,and wrapped my coat around me.Now....where should I walk to.....?The courtyard....I started my descent down the stairs,and rounded the corner,when someone tugged on my shoulder.
