Love At First Sight (DracoMalfoy)

My mother accompanied my twin sister Ashley and I to King’s Cross Station at 10:00. I didn’t want to be late and was practically running to the barrier in which Platform 9 ¾ was hidden, unlike Ashley who chose to walk. My mother simply smiled and waved goodbye as we walked through. Goodbye muggle world, hello wizarding world. I rushed inside. “Why are you hurrying Zoey, we still have an hour left?” Ashley complained, putting her luggage down. “You see, unlike you I really don’t want to share a compartment with someone I don’t know” I snarled, placing my luggage on top of hers. We found an empty compartment and sat opposite each other. I took out my iPod and played the song I thought was best…‘Necks to you’ by Lorcan d’Eath and Ashley took out her make-up bag and started applying some. I’d always told her that she was too young for make-up and she’d always complain that she was only one minute younger than me.

Within 55 minutes of our arrival in the compartment, the door slid open, revealing 3 figures. One had sleek white-blonde hair, silvery-grey eyes and a cute cocky smirk and the other two were thick and were scowling. ‘What’s their problem?’ I thought. I turned from the window to look at the three strangers. “The name’s Malfoy, Draco Malfoy…these two are Crabbe and Goyle” the blonde male introduced, gesturing to the other two. Turning off my iPod, I said “I’m Zoey Fuller and this is my twin sister Ashley”. Draco smirked and told Crabbe to close the door. “Well then Zoey, I hope you don’t mind us sitting with you” Draco said, sitting down next to me before I could answer. Crabbe and Goyle sat either side of Ashley, who was now glaring at me. The clock struck 11 o’clock and the Hogwarts Express departed. We were silent for a few minutes. “So, Zoey, I take it you’re pure-blood, correct?” Draco asked putting his arm on the cushion that was just above my right shoulder. “Yes, we’re both pure-blood” Ashley blurted, before I could open my mouth. Draco turned to her in sudden annoyance. “I didn’t ask you, did I?” Draco snarled.

My heart fluttered. He looked really cute when he got annoyed. “Don’t talk to my sister like that” I said, futilely hiding my smile. Draco turned to me, having found a new target. Leaning in closer, he said “I think I’ll do whatever, besides, you wouldn’t want someone like her trying to break us apart”. I was confused. Were we even an item? We’d just met…unless we’ve met before and I couldn’t remember. Draco winked and I turned a light shade of pink and turned away. Draco leaned in closer and whispered “You’re not sure if we are an item…aren’t you?” I nodded. I turned to look at Draco and I could see the irises in his beautiful grey eyes. He kissed me lightly. I pulled away and said “You’re such a tease…” Draco kissed me again but more passionate that time. I pulled away and smiled. Ashley gagged from the other side of the room. I stuck my tongue out at her and pressed my lips against Draco’s again. That’s how I met Draco (for possibly the second time) and how our first kiss of our first year went.
