Jax~
I sprinted home as fast as I could. I half expected Ozzy to follow me, but then I remember…it’s ozzy. He doesn’t give a damn about me. But even if he was following me, I was sure as hell not in the mood to talk.
As I was running, I paid no mind if I bumped into anyone, or if I made someone stumble and fall. I just wanted to get home. But then I bumped into someone who I really didn’t want to mess with.
Crisilia~
I was walking home from the capitol building of New Orleans. The damp ground sunk down with my every step. Then suddenly someone did something that made me furious. They ran straight into me, knocking me to the ground!
“Hey buddy! Watch where you’re going!” I yelled. The guy turned around. It was Jax. I squinted my eyes. He looked like he was about to cry.
“Hey!” I yelled. But he didn’t respond. He just ran off.

Heaven-Serania~
I watched Crisilia bump into Jax. Shane and I made sure they would leave from where they were going so they saw each other on the street, but it didn’t matter. Nothing happened.
“Ugh! Shane it isn’t working! They aren’t getting any closer!” I said.
“Well I really don’t think Jax would want to be with a girl who was so nosy…” Shane said quietly.
“But she was only being nosy because she cared!” I argued back.
“Serania! Look at yourself! Remember when we first met, and I was being just as nosy as Crisilia, you wouldn’t even look at me.” Shane said. He was right. If anyone should know how annoyed Jax is, it would be me. But I had no reason to be so quiet and secretive. I guess I kind of forgot how it felt to not want anyone to know about me.
“I’m sorry. I just kind of lost the need to keep any secrets so I forgot.” I said insecurely.
Shane reached over and kissed the top of my head.
“It’s ok.” He said lovingly.
Jax~
I finally arrived home, hoping I had lost Crisilia. I stood inthe doorway and panted. Comma came over and patted my back.
“Jax look at you! You’re heaving like crazy! What’s wrong?” he asked.
“Nothing.” I said after finally catching my breath, “Nothing at all.”
I walked to the sunroom of our apartment and slammed the door. I got the book “The Outsiders” from the shelf. Comma, Ozzy, and I reminded me of the brothers in the book. Me being Ponyboy, Ozzy being Soda, and well you know. The only difference was that they always stuck together as family. Ozzy was always doing whatever he wanted. Sure he would hang out at the house, but I felt like Ozzy didn’t care. He just wanted to get some girls. He just wanted to live his life alone going from person to person. We were just those people who lived with him.
My eyes began to water as I read the book thinking about the whole thing with Ozzy. A tear dropped on the page. I heard the sliding door of the sun room open. I turned around and saw Ozzy in the doorway.
