He Could Be The One
Lea (lay-uh) has had serveral boyfriends but their relationships never lasted long. But one day, a new guy comes to her school. He was funny and sweet, but he doesn't like Lea the way she likes him. Could he be the one?
I sat on my bed for a moment. Then I got up to look through my closet for the fourth time. I had to look my best for Derek's birhtday. He just turned fifteen and I'm going to surprise him with a romantic dinner at his house. A few month ago for my birthday, he took me to a movie and an amazing dinner. I wanted to get to his house before he did so I could set up.
After tearing up my closet again, I found the perfect dress. I put it on, brushed my hair a rushed out the door. I walked down the street and I was about to put in earring when I relized I had two different earrings.
"Crap", I said out loud. An old woman looked at me.
"Watch your mouth, missy," she yelled at me as if she was my mother. I ignored her and focused on one thing: Derek.
Finally, I got to his house but he was already there and he was with a girl. They were watching a movie together. Derek's arm was around her. The girl turned her head and saw me. She quickly turned back to Derek and kissed him and he was enjoying it! I felt tears coming.
"Derek!" I tried to sound mad but tears were already running down my face.
