Silence seized the dark conversation between me and Rosie.We always seemed to talk abou the death of the five-year-old red head across the road.
We remembered the event vividly, every movementand sound.
The girl was dancing on the road, pointing my toes awkwardly and dragging her battered teddy bear by its arm. All it took was the sharp turn of a car around the corner, an unexpected scream from the girl, and the scent of young blood would fill the air.
Georgia died that night due to a power shortage at the hospital.
