Warriors:Book 1: Falling Star Chapter 2

Everywhere Ashpaw looked his clanmates were staring at him like Tigerstar himself had come down and licked him on the nose. He was still wondering what HAD happened when a yowl rose from his mother, Sunstep, who was running through the thorn barrier.
"What is wrong?" asked Firestar.
Yowling answered him and Ashpaw jumped, and saw WindClan warriors racing into thier camp.
How dare they! thought Ashpaw. He leaped into battle alongside Featherpaw and her mentor, Cloudtail. He scrathed a WindClan warrior, Heathertail he reconized, from shoulder to flank.
Yowling Heathertail limped out of camp. Just then a cat hit him from behind and sat on him.
" I would hate to kill a little apprentice like you" sneered Whiskerstripe.
Ashpaw jumped up and reared on Whiskerstripe hissing. Whiskerstripe jumped high, catching Ashpaw off gaurd. As Whiskerstripe landed, Featherpaw rushed over and rammed Whiskerstripe off Ashpaw.
"Thanks" muttered Ashpaw before charging one of the two enemy warriors who were attacking his mentor, Spiderleg. Knocking his opponent, Breezepelt, off his paws, Ashpaw started pummeling Breezepelt's exposed belly with his front paws.
" ENOUGH!" yowled Firestar from somewhere near the nursery.
All the warriors stopped fighting and Onestar stepped forward.
"How dare you attack us!" exclaimed Firestar, "Why?"
"Why? Why asks the mighty Firestar" said Onestar to the cats around him, "I'll tell you why! We caught one of your apprentices, Bumblestripe, sneaking around with, Rabbitfur in our territory!"
"Well Bumblestripe, what were you doing?" inquired Firestar.
" Um... I.... I like her!" announced Bumblestripe.
Gasping arouse from the surronding cats and Millie let out a short caterwaul.
" Is this true?" asked Onestar to Rabbitfur.
" Yes" replied Rabbitfur, and even though she was breaking the warrior cold, Ashpaw admired her courage.
"What are you going to do Firestar?" asked Graystripe. "I mean there have been secret relationships before and no one got banished."
"Your one to talk" Ashpaw heard Crowfeather mutter.
" And so are you!" hissed Graystripe turning on Crowfeather.
"Stop! Jayfeather come here quickly!" Icecloud cried.
Everyone turned to where Icecloud was standing and saw Thornclaw lying in a pool of blood.
"oh-nononono!" cried Brightheart, rushing over to her brother.
But as Jayfeather arrived, Ashpaw noticed the feirce light in Thornclaws light was fading and everyone saw that Thornclaw was going to StarClan.
"NOOOOOOOOOO!" yowled Brightheart and sat down next to her brother, despretly calling his name and licking his head.
