Light In The Dark

Ayami listened to the footsteps walking across the gravel to her,she knew she was in trouble for throwing a couple of punches at her foster brother,Nixxen,'But this time he really asked for it...' she thought,as Saria combed through her crisp black hair,she put the comb away. "Ayami!This is the last time you'll fight with Nixxen,you're grounded from everything,and confined to your quaters until further notice." "But Saria-!" "No but's.I've listened to you many times..Nixxen,you're confined to your quaters as well.You to need to learn to get along" Nixxen glared at her from beneth Saria's arm,while Ayami shrugged and skulked behind them.

"Why do I always have to pay for that......idoits actions?" They yelled at the same time.Ayami banged her head against the wall...and Nixxen punched it."Now I can't do anything.....and it's so dark in these quaters..there's nothing to do here......" There was a knock at the door. "Nixxen and you will talk during the day,and I will bring him back during the night.How you two behave during this time dictates how long it is until you are no longer confined...Now have fun"

Ayami watched him settle down onto her bed,and she sighed. "So whaddya wanna do,Nix?" "It's Nixxen,you cross eyed freak." "Whaddya wanna do 'Nixxen'?" He shrugged...and soon the pitter patter of rain could be heared outside.

"Well,we gotta be nice to eachother unless we wanna be stuck in here forever." Ayami said looking outside,soon the door opened. "Time for supper,you can go outside." Ayami heard something hit the ground outside.....
