Mask
This is my poem Mask. I hope you like it!
You wear a mask upon your face.
As you wear it, the real you disappears without a trace.
You hide who you really are.
Still the real you is not far.
This mask covers up all you have come to be.
Now the real you no one can see.
Your hopes and dreams fade.
Look at the mess you've made.
Take off the mask.
Even though it's a hard task.
Still if you never do it no one will know.
But the real you will never show.
By wearing the mask you'll never be free.
Is that really what you want to be?
