Horror Story

Darkness. Nothing but pure darkness. The yielding ground was wet with water. Maybe it wasn't water, maybe it was blood. I saw light in this never-ending tunnel. I ran towards it, and got the feeling that someone was there, watching me silently. The light got brighter, and brighter, and I kept straining my eyes to see what the source of this peculiar light was, but I saw nothing. Suddenly, I felt a piercing pain run right the way through my body, like a stream of acid eroding my body away. I collapsed to the floor, and heard footsteps getting louder and louder. Who ever this was, loved my pain, as her shrill laugh tore through the deadly silence. I wrenched my eyes open, and saw that the women was covered in blood, fresh blood, but her laugh kept on ringing throughout the empty hall. I felt a sharp jabbing pain right through my stomache, heart and leg, and blackness covered my eyes, and fell in the deep sleep which they call death...
